According to Rossiyskaya Gazeta, Doctor of Medicine, professor, nutritionist Alexei Kovalkov considers this a delusion. He spoke about this in detail on his YouTube channel.

"It is better to remove all carbohydrates. You also need to remove dairy and sour milk products. Drinking a glass of milk at night, you get 1.5 teaspoons of lactose - milk sugar associated with the release of insulin. And insulin is secreted into fermented milk products. Porridge, slow carbohydrates and fruits also do not eat before bed, "- said the nutritionist.
According to Kovalkov, at a later time, you can afford meat, fish or seafood (all this in small portions), as well as vegetables. At the same time, he noted that it is advisable to eat just raw vegetables, because heat treatment destroys valuable fiber."
In addition, the nutritionist advised snacking during the day with tomatoes, cucumbers, chopped bell peppers with spices, a small portion of yogurt with bran and in combination with apples.
