Muscovites and guests of the capital can check the health of their feet free of charge using the ultrasound Doppler ultrasound procedure. The action "Check the vessels of the legs" since March 2017, during this time more than 5000 people took part in the action.
During the diagnosis of the patient's legs, a specialist phlebologist examines the blood flow velocity in them using Doppler ultrasonography for the early detection and prevention of varicose veins. Doppler examination is carried out in the presence of symptoms of the pathology of the arterial and venous vessels of the lower extremities.
Signs of pathology: heaviness in the legs, fatigue when walking, pain in the lower extremities, high sensitivity to cold, swelling in the legs, high sensitivity of the legs to cold, the legs cannot warm up for a long time, tingling sensation on the skin of the legs, the presence of dilated veins, the presence of ulcers. The examination takes 15-30 minutes.
