The Sverdlovsk Ministry of Health will distribute one of the most expensive drugs for coronavirus to patients who will be treated at home for free. According to the documentation that appeared on the ministry's website, the drug favipiravir, the price of which varies from 5.5 to 6 thousand rubles, will become part of the treatment of patients with COVID. The medicine will be prescribed for patients with a mild form, as well as with a moderate course of the disease (with and without pneumonia). In addition, patients will be prescribed paracetamol, umifenovir and many others. The course of treatment will be chosen by the doctor. At the initial examination of patients at home with confirmed COVID, they will be asked to consent to treatment. Self-isolation will continue for 14 days. On the second, fourth and sixth days, doctors will conduct telemedicine consultations. If the patient's condition worsens, the attending physician is obliged to go to his house on the same day or the next.
