The Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and Rosprotrebnadzor gave recommendations to citizens in connection with the spread of the dangerous Coxsackie virus in Turkey.

"The disease begins acutely, with a rise in body temperature to 39-40 degrees. Severe headache, dizziness, vomiting, sometimes pain in the abdomen, back, convulsive syndrome, often pronounced catarrhal manifestations from the oropharynx, upper respiratory tract appear." special memo of the Ministry of Health.

It is noted that if a patient has such symptoms, he must be promptly isolated, since he will be a source of infection.

The Ministry of Health warned that any enteroviruses are transmitted by airborne droplets, contact-household, food and water. They are stable in the external environment and can persist for a long time not only in water bodies, but also in household items, as well as food products, in particular, milk, fruits, vegetables. In this case, the virus quickly dies when heated and boiled.

"The source of infection is only a person - a sick or healthy carrier. The virus very effectively infects young children when a small dose gets in with water, food, through dirty toys, hands," - noted, in turn, in Rospotrebnadzor.

Where there is a chance of catching a virus, you need to follow basic rules of hygiene and drinking regimen, thoroughly wash fruits, vegetables and berries, store all products correctly, drink bottled or boiled water, the department added. In addition, sanitary doctors urged not to allow children to enter the hotel pools and baby clubs.
