Coughing and shortness of breath can be symptoms of a heart attack. This was told by the doctor and TV presenter Alexander Myasnikov.

According to the TV doctor, pressing pain behind the breastbone is considered the most common symptom of myocardial infarction, but not everyone may feel it, for example, women and diabetics may not feel it.
He listed atypical symptoms, which included such manifestations as: shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, coughing, weakness, and cold sweat.
The TV presenter clarified that the pain can be different, for example, it will not necessarily be felt in the sternum, concentrating in the abdomen. As the doctor said on the air of the TV channel "Russia 1", a heart attack may be accompanied by belching or a feeling of heartburn and even toothache. In addition, there may be discomfort in the neck or fingers.
