Coronavirus infection causes serious damage to the entire body, and some of the consequences of the disease will haunt a person throughout his life.

Disappointing data was disclosed by a general practitioner, candidate of medical sciences Andrei Kondrakhin. According to the physician, one of the main side effects is weakness. It is especially pronounced in young people who, due to the frantic rhythm of life, have chronic fatigue.

"The body turns out to be worn out anyway, and the coronavirus hits the pain point even more, which makes the condition worsening," Kondrakhin quotes "Evening Moscow".

Another symptom that may accompany those who have had a coronavirus infection all their lives is paresthesia. This is a constant tingling or twisting sensation in the limbs.

In some cases, those who have recovered from the disease do not fully recover their sense of smell and taste, a constant feeling of chills and lack of air. According to Kondrakhin, those who have been ill have problems with high blood pressure. It appears as a result of vascular edema, their walls thicken and the lumen narrows.

"The likelihood of developing the consequences of COVID-19 depends on several factors: the age of the patient, the severity of the illness and the general condition before the illness. And the symptoms associated with the effect of the infection on the brain develop regardless of the age and general state of human health," Kondrakhin said.
