Doctor of Psychology, clinical psychologist Artur Garaganov told how to restore physical form without stress and unnecessary nervous tension after plentiful New Year and Christmas feasts.

As the specialist noted, after several days of permissiveness in food and non-compliance with the regime, it is difficult to return to the usual rhythm of life and dietary restrictions.
First of all, Garaganov advises to regulate the consumption of carbohydrates, since it is they who retain fluid in the body and cause a constant desire to eat something sweet. At the same time, excessively high-calorie flour food causes euphoria only for a short time, and then provokes lethargy and apathy.
- It is necessary to act gradually - to reduce the dose of carbohydrates by at least half, - the expert recommends.
Psychological attitudes and motivation are extremely important to return to your usual rhythm. A person needs to determine for himself for what purpose and for whom he is doing it, as well as what he wants to get as a result and how ready he is to get out of the “festive” state, Garaganov said.
- Most often, a person is ready to lose weight, get out of the holiday period not just for himself, but for the sake of someone close to him or colleagues who should see him after going to work. You need to look decent, beautiful, slim, - quotes a psychologist from radio Sputnik.
Earlier, the TV presenter and former participant of the Dom-2 TV project Victoria Bonya shared the secret of recovery after New Year's feasts.
