Tele-ECG helped diagnose a heart attack in Tyumen. The man was admitted to OKB 2 in an ambulance with abdominal pain.

According to him, the pains appeared during the day against the background of stress, and towards the night, when the man called an ambulance, they became unbearable.
Along with the examination by the surgeons, the man underwent an ECG using a mobile device. The patient was diagnosed with a change in heart rate with signs of myocardial disturbance. It turned out that the Tyumen citizen had a heart attack, - the press service of the OKB 2 reported to the Ural Meridian news agency.
The patient was promptly hospitalized for the necessary treatment and specialized medical care.
As noted by the head of the therapeutic service of OKB 2, chief freelance therapist, Ph. D. Natalia Okonechnikova, myocardial infarction can manifest itself not only with pain behind the breastbone, but also, as in this case, in the abdomen.
Mobile tele-ECG machines allow you to perform research at the patient's bedside, significantly reducing the time of diagnosis.
The OKB has 2 such devices 9, five of them were put into operation this week. Russian State Duma deputy Nikolai Brykin provided assistance in purchasing the equipment.
