Patients may experience flu-like symptoms in the first days after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine, but they should not be feared. This was announced on February 1 by the chief freelance therapist of the Ministry of Health of Russia, director of the National Medical Research Center for Therapy and Preventive Medicine Oksana Drapkina on the air of Channel One.

"There is nothing to be afraid of, but there is something to watch for. There may be flu-like symptoms, a flu-like condition," she said.
The doctor added that frequent manifestations after vaccination are weakness, aches, drowsiness, and a short-term rise in temperature. Very rarely, according to Drapkina, the temperature rises above 39 degrees - more often it does not exceed 38 degrees.
