"As for the sale of prescription drugs, the entire industry must now switch to labeling. Today, unlabeled drugs continue to circulate in the market. And this is an important point of tracking for safety," Murashko said.
"Today, having received a drug labeling system, we understand the entire procedure for traceability and movement of drugs to retail. The entire procedure for delivering them to pharmacies. As the system improves, my colleagues and I will develop solutions," Manturov said.
According to the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the government will study the issue of allowing online sales of prescription drugs. "A decision was made in May, and OTC drugs are already sold through online stores. Therefore, I think that someday our colleagues should support us, such a decision will be made in the foreseeable future," he said.
The minister recalled that a drug labeling system has already been introduced, which makes it possible to increase the traceability of drugs. "Therefore, there will be no big difference where to buy, in a pharmacy or with home delivery. As the system improves, my colleagues and I will work out a solution," Manturov said.
