Host of the program "Life is great!" on Channel One and Doctor of Medical Sciences Elena Malysheva discovered and listed the side effects of self-isolation. The broadcast was posted on YouTube.

The first negative consequence of the program was called the stoppage of mass vaccination of children. Malysheva noted that in 2020, 94 million children were unable to receive standard vaccinations. According to the TV doctor, this may lead to the outbreak of infections in the world, which humanity has already forgotten about.

The second problem that self-isolation led to, Malysheva called the increase in mortality from heart disease. According to cardiologist and professor Dmitry Duplyakov, in all countries whose residents observed quarantine, the number of deaths from such diseases increased. The program emphasized that for one million deaths from coronavirus, there are 17 million deaths from heart attacks and strokes.

“Therefore, today we tell everyone who sits at home only one thing: you must understand that the risk of dying from heart disease is several times higher than the risk of dying or even meeting with coronavirus,” added Malysheva. She advised viewers to continue to take the medication prescribed by the doctor, as well as to walk and move. In case of pain in the heart, the doctor strongly recommended calling an ambulance.

The third problem Malysheva called the fact that some during self-isolation begin to suffer from the psyche. Its co-host Dmitry Shubin advised such people to seek help from specialists if they understand that they cannot cope with their own problems on their own. In his opinion, a therapeutic conversation or drugs will help them fix the situation.

Earlier, Malysheva's co-host, Dr. Andrei Prodeus, noted that many people gained excess weight due to self-isolation. According to the specialist, this increases the risk of diseases associated with malnutrition, in particular gastritis, cholecystitis, type 2 diabetes and atherosclerosis.
