An accordion player from Omsk appeared on Channel One in the program “Living is Healthy!”. Using the example of a video where Omsk fervently sings ditties on behalf of a patient with COVID-19 and asks Santa Claus for antibiotics, the show host Elena Malysheva made out who should be treated for coronavirus on an outpatient basis.
Doctor Dmitry Shubin participating in the release, due to the absence of shortness of breath and the carefree joy of Omsk, concluded that hospitalization was not indicated for him and that it was quite possible to confine himself to home treatment.
The leading programs are sure that if a person infected with coronavirus has a body temperature below 38.5, saturation is more than 94% and can walk two floors without shortness of breath, then he does not need a doctor or an ambulance. Malysheva did not elaborate on how to find out the level of saturation without a doctor and not receive a fine for leaving the apartment on the staircase with a confirmed analysis for COVID-19.
At the end of the broadcast, the presenter only noted the following: "We must release doctors, ambulances and hospitals for serious patients, who simply cannot break through the accordion players and cheerful guys."
