Headaches can disrupt plans and spoil your mood for the whole day. However, do not rush to get medicines - there are several more ways to get rid of discomfort without the use of medicines.
The easiest and at the same time very effective way to relieve pain is to do a general head massage. It will help relieve cramps, so you can get back to business in 15 minutes.
To begin with, throw your head back a little and knead your neck with your fingers from top to bottom, and then back. Massage your neck for a couple of minutes, then switch to the top of your head. Move your fingers as if you were washing your head. Then massage your temples and earlobes in a circular motion.
Try to keep your movements soft. If you feel warm, then you are doing everything right, and the pain will soon subside.
Essential oils will help to cope with discomfort. Best suited for these purposes are lavender, mint, eucalyptus, rosemary and sandalwood. Oil can be applied to whiskey, but not in pure form, but in combination with another oil or cream. It can also be added to an aroma lamp or diffuser.
If you find yourself at home with a headache, take a shower or take a bath. This method will help restore blood circulation and dilate blood vessels. You can also add the already mentioned aromatic oils, bath salt or milk to the water. This will help you to relax, and so the painful sensations will go away.
Dehydration is a common cause of headaches. Therefore, at the first sign of discomfort, drink a glass of clean water. And make sure that the water balance is normal throughout the day. This will not only save you from recurring headaches, but will also have a beneficial effect on the condition of your skin and hair.
Also, unpleasant sensations may mean that you have sat too long in one place. Try to get out for a walk for at least 15 minutes. This will relieve headaches, normalize heart function, reduce stress levels and lift your mood.
Also, ventilate the room more often, even during the cold season. Or install special air disinfection equipment in your home.
