Vaccination against COVID-19 is voluntary. In the morning of November 18, in the vaccination room of the Samara city polyclinic of the 13th Zheleznodorozhny district, the vaccination of teachers began. More than 1,500 people have already been vaccinated against the new coronavirus infection in the region. First of all, medical workers were vaccinated to ensure the sustainability and continuity of hospitals and clinics. Now teachers are involved in vaccination. Before being vaccinated, the patient fills out a questionnaire, in which he is obliged to honestly indicate some points about his own health and previous illnesses. Then "face-to-face" with a therapist, who examines the patient's throat, measures temperature, blood pressure and oxygen level in the blood. After the therapist gives the go-ahead, the patient goes to the treatment room. The vaccine is pre-thawed for half an hour. The same number of people after vaccination should be carried out under medical supervision. “I work in the field of education and communicate with a large number of people,” said Svetlana Nikushina, a teacher of the Russian language and literature at school 64. - So the vaccination is simply necessary for me. Now is the time that we must think not only about ourselves, but also about the safety of our relatives, loved ones, elderly parents. History knows many examples when vaccination helped save humanity from terrible epidemics. I believe in medicine, I'm not afraid to get vaccinated. Hopefully soon we will be able to return to the old life. Precautions after the COVID-19 vaccine are the same as after all other vaccinations: do not wet the injection site, do not go to the pool and bathhouse for three days, do not drink alcohol and limit physical activity. Doctors advise these days to rest more and monitor the condition. Minor malaise and fever are normal. This is how the body reacts to the development of immunity. Vaccination against coronavirus infection is carried out in two stages with an interval of three weeks. Each patient is given a memo with the date and time of the next injection. There are a number of contraindications to vaccination: age under 18 and over 60, pregnancy and breastfeeding, high blood pressure, ARVI symptoms, allergic reactions. “Our polyclinic received 550 doses of Gam-COVID-Vak vaccine and we began to vaccinate teachers,” said Anna Kravets, chief physician of the Samara city polyclinic 13. - The clinic will work until 19:00, we will have time to vaccinate everyone. The vaccine is stored at minus 18 degrees and thawed at room temperature before being administered to the patient. According to experts, Gam-COVID-Vac is an inactivated vaccine. It does not contain a live virus. It contains only the gene for the protein S of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which is triggered by the body's immune system and develops protective functions. Antibodies will defend themselves if a real virus enters the body. However, vaccination does not cancel the wearing of masks and the use of disinfectants. As large quantities of antidote arrive, the list of categories will be expanded. Priority vaccination against COVID-19 is subject to employees of medical institutions, educational organizations, social protection authorities. With the start of the mass campaign, it will be possible to vaccinate in the clinic at the place of residence. Vaccination against COVID-19 is voluntary, before its introduction, voluntary informed consent is issued. Contraindications include acute infectious and non-infectious diseases, exacerbations of chronic diseases. In such cases, vaccination is possible no earlier than 2-4 weeks after recovery or remission.
