In March 2021, at least 500 thousand doses of COVID-19 vaccines will arrive in the Middle Urals. From February, residents will have the opportunity to choose the coronavirus vaccine - Sputnik V or the Vector vaccine. This was announced by Deputy Governor Pavel Krekov at a briefing.

“Until the end of this year, we are in the coronavirus vaccine trial zone. At this stage, we received 8050 doses of the Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine. To date, approximately 7200 people have been vaccinated. All 8050 will be vaccinated tomorrow. In about 5-6 days we plan to receive another dose of about 10,000 vaccines. In total, by the end of January we will receive about 50-60 thousand vaccines. In February, we plan to receive about 120, maybe 150 thousand vaccines. And in March, I think we will receive at least half a million doses of coronavirus vaccines. These are three decisive months,”said Deputy Governor Pavel Krekov at a briefing following the meeting of the headquarters.

According to the Deputy Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region Pavel Krekov, today about 30% of residents from different categories of the region's population already have antibodies. Almost 70% of all vaccinated today are doctors. In 2021, about 76 vaccination points will open in the region. Some of them will be provided with transportation.
