Press Service of the Governor and Government of the Khabarovsk Territory Acting Governor of the Khabarovsk Territory Mikhail Degtyarev donated blood with antibodies from coronavirus to treat sick residents of the region. Together with them, the ministers of the regional government, as well as the players and coaches of the Amur hockey club, have become plasma donors, the correspondent of the PROkhab.ru portal reports with reference to the press service of the governor and the government of the Khabarovsk Territory. Plasma donors for the treatment of patients with coronavirus can only be those people who have either already had this infection themselves, or have been vaccinated against it - only these citizens have special antibodies in their blood, which are needed to treat patients with coronavirus. And Mikhail Degtyarev, having made himself two vaccinations against COVID-19 in the summer of last year, became the first donor of "anticoid" plasma in our region, whose immunity was formed as a result of vaccination. The Acting Governor donated his blood with antibodies in November 2020, after which it was successfully transfused to a patient undergoing treatment for coronavirus at the Khabarovsk City Hospital 10. - I was vaccinated last summer, during the Sputnik V vaccine trial stage. Both injections were well tolerated. Later, the analysis showed that the antibodies were developed perfectly. If there is an opportunity to help each other, then it is imperative to do it. Donation has always been an honorable mission. And in the conditions of the coronavirus, it acquired a special meaning: firstly, personnel donors also fall ill and drop out of the process for a while, and, secondly, now a new direction has appeared in the use of blood components, '' Mikhail Degtyarev said. year, the Khabarovsk Territory became one of the first regions in Russia where doctors began to use plasma with antibodies to treat patients with coronavirus. At the moment, 65 patients have already undergone blood transfusion in our region. The regional blood transfusion station now has 420 curative doses of "anticoid" pathogen-activated plasma of all blood groups in the amount of 84 liters. - "Antikovidny" plasma is already used by KKB-1 and KKB-2, the tuberculosis hospital, the 10th and 11th city hospitals in Khabarovsk, the city hospital 2 in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, the Central Regional Hospital in Sovetsko-Gavansky, Solnechny and Ulchsky districts. Its use has shown its effectiveness at the initial stage of treatment. Among those who donated plasma with antibodies, two donors who completed the full course of vaccination in 2020, - said the acting Minister of Health of the Khabarovsk Territory Yuri Boychenko. To date, almost 13 thousand people have already been vaccinated against COVID-19 in the Khabarovsk Territory. In the near future, the region will receive a large batch of the Russian vaccine against coronavirus "GamKovidVac", which will be available to residents of the entire Khabarovsk Territory. - The fact that we were able to organize a large-scale vaccination was one of the reasons why an international connection was opened from the Khabarovsk airport. The clear work of the health care system in this matter makes it possible to gradually close infectious diseases hospitals and return medical institutions to a planned regime, as well as partially weaken the restrictions imposed against the background of the pandemic, Mikhail Degtyarev emphasized. players and coaches of the Khabarovsk hockey club "Amur".By the way, they did not come to the regional blood transfusion station empty-handed, but brought with them free tickets to the next home match between Amur and Novosibirsk Siberia. They will be received by all Khabarovsk residents who come to the blood transfusion station to donate plasma and its components. The participation of officials, athletes and personally the acting governor of the Khabarovsk Territory in this action is a good way to draw the attention of citizens to this problem, setting an example for other people who have antibodies from coronavirus to also become a donor. After all, it is no secret that many of the vaccinated or ill people simply do not know about such a possibility or do not understand how important their plasma can be for saving someone's lives. Realizing this, Mikhail Degtyarev, as the head of the Khabarovsk Territory, who is responsible for the lives and health of the residents of the region, seeks to show people by his personal example how to act so that the consequences of the pandemic are less harmful for everyone. At first, the acting governor publicly spoke about his experience of vaccination against coronavirus, urging residents of the Khabarovsk Territory to follow his example. And now he was one of the first in our region to join the ranks of the "anticoid" plasma donors.
