In the Perm Territory, blood donors will receive increased payments during December, the press service of the regional administration reports.
To create a stock in the blood bank for the long New Year's weekend, Governor Dmitry Makhonin instructed the Ministry of Health to increase payments to donors to 1,000 rubles.
“I see that the Perm regional blood transfusion service is in need of donors. Long holidays are ahead and, as expected, the issue will become more urgent. Therefore, I am instructing to increase payments to blood donors by 311 rubles - up to 1,000 rubles for the whole of December, from December 1 to December 31. This will create the necessary blood reserve for the provision of medical care,”the head of the region said.
It should be noted that this is not the first time the region has taken such a step. Recall that in April, during the strict requirements of the high alert regime due to the unfavorable epidemiological situation associated with the spread of coronavirus infection, increased payments to donors were introduced for three months. Temporarily their size increased from 674 rubles to one and a half thousand. Before the blood donation point, Perm citizens were issued special passes.
