Residents of the region who have had coronavirus are actively helping to stop the spread of the infection.
Already 2,223 residents of the region donated blood. From the collected material, more than 2070 doses were obtained, ready for transfusion to patients with coronavirus, the press service of the regional administration said.
From the blood of one donor, from 250 to 270 ml of a dose of anticoid plasma is obtained. The production of the necessary material takes up to four days, after which it is immediately transferred to infectious diseases hospitals for transfusion to patients with COVID-19.
There are no cases of deterioration of the condition against the background of the infusion of anticoid plasma. Patients usually feel better if the treatment is not aggravated by chronic diseases.
