The republic plans to vaccinate representatives of risk groups from coronavirus until March next year. First of all, this applies to doctors, teachers, transport workers, social workers and those who have to communicate with a large number of people according to their position. The list of professions and services included in the so-called risk groups is determined by the Russian Ministry of Health. “First of all, risk groups will be vaccinated, and in the future, based on the capacities of the manufacturers of this vaccine and its supplies to the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, the volumes of vaccination will also increase. Well, if we talk about it, we hope to cover the maximum number of risk groups by March,”said Lyubov Avdonina, deputy head of the Rospotrebnadzor Department for Tatarstan, at a press conference. She recalled that the Sputnik V vaccine has already arrived in the republic in the amount of 2.9 thousand doses, and it has already begun to vaccinate medical workers. The arrival of another vaccine, EpiVacCorona, is expected for mass vaccination early next year. Now the republic is testing this vaccine on volunteers. Lyubov Avdonina told who should not be vaccinated against coronavirus. Contraindications for vaccination "Sputnik V" and "EpiVacCorona" are: age up to 18 years (since these vaccines have not yet been tested on children), cancer and pregnancy. Contraindications are also hypersensitivity to any component of the vaccine, a history of severe allergic reactions, exacerbation of any chronic diseases, severe vaccine complications, if they were after previous vaccinations. At the same time, Avdonina clarified, the Sputnik V vaccine is indicated for people not older than 60 years old, and EpiVacCorona can also be used for people over 60 years old. Doctors may refuse to vaccinate with Sputnik V people who are in contact with patients with coronavirus and people who have antibodies. Also, for a while, you will have to refrain from vaccinations, people who arrived from abroad in the last two weeks. Experts note that vaccines that have passed state registration and officially approved for use are safe. This fact has been recognized by the registration authority issuing permission for their use. Vaccination against one disease does not weaken a person's immune response to another disease. Vaccination does not create any additional risks for a person who has been in contact with an infectious patient or is in the incubation period of the disease. “In Tatarstan, there are currently 900 beds for patients with Covid-19 in stock, about 3.8 thousand beds are occupied. In total, 4,700 beds have been allocated for coronavirus patients in the republic in temporary infectious diseases hospitals,”Deputy Minister of Health of Tatarstan Farida Yarkaeva told reporters. According to the Ministry of Health of Tatarstan, currently 11.9 thousand cases of Covid-19 have been registered in the republic, 10.4 thousand people have recovered, including 76 in the last day. Over the entire period of the pandemic, 167 people have died from the coronavirus.
