Mass vaccination will help stop the spread of COVID-19, doctors of the capital are convinced. Several townspeople who were vaccinated told NG why they decided to get vaccinated, and the metropolitan doctors appreciated how this process is going in the metropolis. Moscow is actively developing a program to vaccinate citizens against COVID-19. Doctors, a significant part of whom have already been vaccinated, note that the drug has been experimentally tested and proven to be safe. - There are now 70 vaccination centers in Moscow, where citizens are vaccinated against covid. In the near future, they plan to increase their number to 100, - the material says. It is clarified that, as a matter of priority, those who are in the main risk groups can sign up for vaccinations - these are Muscovites over 60 years old, people with chronic diseases, employees of those industries in which it is necessary to contact a large number of people. In order to get vaccinated, you need a passport and a compulsory medical insurance policy (and it doesn't matter if it was issued in Moscow or in another region, whether you are attached to a medical organization in Moscow or not). You will also need a document confirming the fact of work in the relevant industry, for example, a certificate from work, and students of universities and colleges need to present a student ID. People over 60 and townspeople with chronic diseases do not need additional certificates. “Now everything has been done in Moscow to get vaccinated as quickly and efficiently as possible,” Elena Tsyganova, head of the scientific and clinical department of the Moscow City AIDS Center, deputy chief infectious disease specialist of the Moscow Department of Health, told NG. - It is available: you can quickly and easily sign up, come on the right day, without interfering with a large flow of people, get a certificate, sign up for a second vaccination. Those who plan to vaccinate receive reminders, and it is impossible to forget that you have a vaccination scheduled. There are many vaccination stations that work at convenient times. So the vaccination was organized very well in Moscow. Inna Samsonova, deputy chief physician for the medical department of the city clinical hospital 52, noted that everything is organized clearly: people register, they are called on schedule, clearly, they can be vaccinated without queues and any problems. Recall that in city medical institutions, Muscovites are vaccinated free of charge, using the coronavirus vaccine created by scientists from the N.F. Gamalei of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation. The vaccine does not contain a live virus, and it is two-component - that is, 21 days after the first injection, you will need to come for a second procedure. Doctors note that patients tolerate vaccination without serious side effects, however, like after any vaccination, on the first day there may be individual reactions - fever, numbness of the injection site, headache. Inna Samsonova is sure that one should not be guided by those who are afraid of being vaccinated. - There will always be opponents of vaccines - even those that have been used for decades and are included in the national vaccination schedules around the world, says the doctor. - Of course, everything new raises questions and concerns, but a large pool of people who have been vaccinated has already accumulated. Vaccine manufacturers and doctors openly talk about the possible reactions that are expected - fever, weakness, aching joints for one or two days - nevertheless, a biological preparation is injected, to which the body responds. At the same time, no serious consequences were recorded in patients. So there is no point in being afraid, it is better to be vaccinated. All doctors note that in order to successfully combat the pandemic, it is necessary that 65-70% of the population develop immunity to coronavirus, doctors say. - First of all, the vaccination should be given to those who constantly work with a large number of people - teachers, doctors, cultural workers. In Moscow, these people were immediately included in the priority vaccination lists, which have been expanding in recent days. And the more the population is vaccinated, the faster we will get out of the covid spin,”says Inna Samsonova. Elena Tsyganova notes that it is also necessary, first of all, to vaccinate those who have concomitant chronic diseases, such as diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular pathology, older citizens who also have chronic diseases. “Patients from the risk group have a higher likelihood of a severe course of the disease, and if they can get vaccinated, they must be sure to do it,” said Tsyganova. Svetlana Chikinova, the head of the center of public services of the Butyrsky district, notes that she decided to get vaccinated as soon as she learned that the city provided such an opportunity. - I am in daily contact with a large number of people and, naturally, I understand that it is important to take care of both my own health and the health of those around me. Because as soon as I found out that the employees of the centers could get vaccinated on a priority basis, I immediately registered for this procedure,”Chikinova said. - Many of our employees are vaccinated, and I think it is worth getting vaccinated so that we can quickly overcome this ailment together. Nikolai Frolov, a teacher of additional education at school 1524, said that he decided to vaccinate against covid, since there is an epidemic in the country, the disease is spreading quickly. - I work with children, there are many children, I constantly communicate with them, so I decided to be vaccinated in order to protect myself, and them, and our loved ones. I did the vaccination in the clinic, everything was clear and fast - I underwent a small examination by a general practitioner, got vaccinated, it took very little time, - said the teacher. … It is clarified that the vaccination did not cause any serious negative reaction of the organism among the citizens surveyed by NG. - I have already gone through two stages, I feel absolutely normal, - said Chikinova. - After the introduction of the first component there was a slight headache, after the second - no negative consequences at all, everything was fine. - After the first vaccination there was some increased fatigue for a couple of days, after the second - also, but less noticeable, I did not notice any other reactions, although my friends had cases of fever, - said Peter Bystrov. In Nikolai Frolov, the vaccination also did not cause any unpleasant symptoms that may accompany vaccination: - Everything went well, I did not notice any discomfort.
