Drinking water in large containers can cause health problems.
Deputy Head of Roskachestvo Elena Saratseva said that drinking water from a cooler could be hazardous to health. In her opinion, before filling with a new portion of water, the container and the cooler itself must be properly disinfected - otherwise, drinking water can cause health problems.
In addition, there is a possibility that the supplied water may not meet the requirements for the content of beneficial micronutrients. At the moment, Roskachestvo is researching drinking water in various containers, including bottles for coolers. The inspection order was issued to the department by the State Commission for Combating Illegal Trafficking of Industrial Products.
As part of the study, experts will check the products and determine how often there are falsified information about the composition of water that can mislead consumers. Also, Roskachestvo will check drinking water for the presence of pathogenic microorganisms and pathogens.
