The former chief sanitary doctor of Russia, Gennady Onishchenko, commented on the idea of including a clause on vaccination in the labor contract for those who are in contact with a large number of people.

“We have always vaccinated people who work with tuberculosis, for example,” Onishchenko explained, Vechernyaya Moskva reports.

The deputy also recalled that, for example, vaccination against tuberculosis was mandatory for cattle breeders. Mandatory vaccination also applies to foresters.

Earlier, Doctor of Medical Sciences Vladislav Zhemchugov expressed the opinion that vaccination in Russia could be made mandatory for representatives of contact professions.

Earlier, Gennady Onishchenko spoke about population groups vulnerable to coronavirus. The older generation is the group most vulnerable to coronavirus infection, amounting to about 40 million people. The second vulnerable group is people who have endocrine, oncological, cardiological diseases.
