The regional Ministry of Health has a virtual assistant - a robot that calls outpatients every day and learns about their health. Based on four test questions, it allows you to get the minimum necessary information - about temperature, shortness of breath, body aches, pain, general condition of the patient. Then this information is transmitted to the medical facility. And if a person gets worse, then a health worker contacts him and decides to adjust the treatment. - In fact, this is artificial intelligence that collects information about the condition of patients, all of it is systematized and transmitted to polyclinics, - said the expert of the quality service of the clinical hospital named after Seredavina Evgeny Bobrov. - The idea is not new. Robotic systems are used in many areas. We will improve this product over time. In the physical sense, a virtual assistant is a server and a special program that recognizes the respondent's answers and sorts them depending on his state. The results of the conversation are recorded in a computer program and, in fact, on the monitor screen. The doctor sees everything - what is the patient's temperature and how he feels. Troubled responses are highlighted in red. This means that this outpatient needs urgent attention - come with an unscheduled round, call, and maybe even decide on hospitalization. “This system helps our employees to interact more quickly with patients with COVID-19,” said Olga Salikova, deputy doctor for the medical department of the city polyclinic 14. - This reduces the time it takes to assess the patient's condition.
