There is currently no such vaccine. Despite the fact that scientists have been working on vaccines for the most common infections for decades, vaccines against some of them still do not exist. Until recently, this list included, for example, malaria. However, the only vaccine against it did not show high efficiency, and the main method of prevention remains the control of insect vectors. In many countries, including Russia, one of the most common is herpes infection. However, to date, vaccination against this virus is not carried out. The Russians were urged not to believe unscrupulous clinics offering vaccinations against herpes. “You should not trust clinics that offer vaccinations that protect against infection with the herpes virus. There is currently no effective vaccination against herpes simplex virus infection. However, in many countries of the world, work is underway to create it,”said Dmitry Kim, head of the Center for Viral Skin Pathology at the Moscow Center for Dermatovenereology and Cosmetology, to the Moscow City News Agency. As the doctor noted, by the age of 6-7 years, 30-60% of children are found with the herpes virus of the first type (herpes on the lips). And by the age of 30, the proportion of those infected increases to 90%. Nevertheless, do not sound the alarm - the presence of herpes in the body does not mean one hundred percent of the development of the disease. The body of a healthy person is able to control this virus through an immune response. Photo: Depositphotos Let's be friends on social networks!
