MOSCOW, November 20 - RIA Novosti. Doctor and TV presenter Yevgeny Komarovsky in his YouTube channel explained how a person who has had a coronavirus is dangerous to others if someone in his family is still sick.

He expressed the opinion that contact with other people in this case is not worth it, since everyone is "terribly afraid." Komarovsky cited as an example the situation with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who had already had a coronavirus a few months ago, but after recent contact with a person who was diagnosed with COVID-19, went into isolation.

The doctor also suggested analyzing another case: when one of the family members got sick, and the rest are healthy.

He noted that a person, in theory, will be contagious within a maximum of seven to eight days after the first symptoms.

"But medical science will probably say that it is better to play it safe for ten days. Now add 14 days - the maximum incubation period," he explained.

If you have been in contact with a sick person, you need to go into self-isolation, the doctor concluded.

In addition, Komarovsky explained that a person will be a real carrier of coronavirus in the absence of the ability to produce antibodies - then a person can get sick a second time.

The latest data on the situation with COVID-19 in Russia and the world are presented on the stopkoronavirus.ru portal.
