Sue Drummie, a 38-year-old mother of three, gained weight when she became pregnant with her son Dillon at 17. “I ate for nine; as a result, I gained 51 kilograms and began to weigh 146 kilograms,”she recalls. At that time, the single mother did not monitor her diet and often ate pasta and fast food.

When Dillon was one and a half years old, Drummy met her future husband, Mike. During the second pregnancy, her weight increased to 172 kilograms. “I was a drinker. Most of my calories came from wine and snacks,”she admitted.

Despite being obese, she did not suffer from health problems. She was prompted to lose weight by the humiliation she experienced while going to a restaurant. “The restaurant manager tried to replace my chair, claiming that I was too fat for a normal chair,” she recalls.

After that, the British woman joined the weight loss program, began to run regularly and lost 64 kilograms in a year. However, in 2014, she injured her right leg, gave up sports and returned to her previous weight. “When I started drinking even more, I had to admit that I suffer from alcoholism,” says Drummy.

Finally she decided to quit drinking and her weight stopped growing. “But it didn't help to lose weight,” said Drummy. The British woman signed up for a procedure to reduce the volume of the stomach, began to eat moderately and again went in for sports: she regularly swam and trained with friends. In April last year, she was operated on.

Now the British woman goes in for sports eight times a week and adheres to a low-carb diet. “I eat in small portions. For me, food is now more fuel than pleasure, she says. - I really feel healthy; training has a positive effect on my mental state."

Drummy is raising £ 10,000 (a million rubles) on a crowdfunding service to remove sagging skin, which is scheduled for October 2021. “My main goal is to gain absolute self-confidence. And then I will be where I want to be,”she said.
