A team of scientists in Iceland reported the establishment of another sign that may indicate infection with coronavirus. Many people who get sick have myalgia (muscle pain). The results of the work are published in the British Medical Journal.
Experts analyzed data from a population screening for COVID-19 held in Iceland in the spring. From March 17 to April 30, 1564 cases of SARS-CoV-2 infection were detected, and most patients (55%) had myalgia - pain in muscles, tendons, ligaments, soft connective tissues, as well as bones and organs. Headache and cough were other common symptoms. With a mild course of the disease, most often people are faced with headache, nasal congestion and loss of smell.
Earlier, the doctor immunologist-allergist Vladimir Bolibok said that all those who have had coronavirus suffer from surges in blood pressure. They have inflammation of the lining of the blood vessels. Biosafety expert, Doctor of Medical Sciences Nikolai Durmanov revealed who is the most infectious of patients with coronavirus, reports RT.
