All military medical specialists underwent advanced training and additional training in the diagnosis and treatment of infectious pathologies.
The multifunctional medical center of the Russian Ministry of Defense in the Republic of Buryatia is working at full capacity, receiving patients, including by ambulance. Half of the hospital's bed capacity is allocated for the placement of civilian patients with coronavirus infection.
At the medical center, more than 60 highly qualified military specialists provide them with medical assistance. Military doctors are on duty around the clock, spending several hours a day in the "red zone".
The medical center is equipped with the most modern equipment. All the necessary comfortable conditions for the stay and treatment of patients have been created in the wards.
“I receive full treatment. I think these are the best conditions in our city. Here, shower, oxygen, we breathe every day, four meals a day. I bow to the medical staff for the fact that they are now working in such conditions. Of course, it is very difficult for them, they are all great fellows,”the patient of the center Svetlana Matyazh thanked the doctors.
In total, in six months, by order of the Russian President, the Ministry of Defense has built 16 multidisciplinary medical centers on the basis of military hospitals in 15 regions of the country.
For the needs of the population of the regions, medical centers have been built in Voronezh, in the Republic of Dagestan, in Kyzyl in the Republic of Tyva, in Pskov and in the city of Velikiye Luki, Pskov region.
