MOSCOW, November 13. / TASS /. About 300 specialists of the chemical and biological protection of the Russian Guard have taken part in the disinfection of public places every day since the beginning of the pandemic. This was reported to TASS by the press service of the Russian Guard.
Every day, up to 300 specialists and up to 65 units of special equipment were involved in the disinfection of playgrounds, bus stops, hospitals and schools. Since the beginning of the pandemic, they have processed more than 1 million pieces of equipment, 780 aircraft, 2,000 buildings and structures with a total area of more million square meters.
"Today specialists of the RCB (radiation, chemical, biological) protection of the Russian National Guard troops continue to successfully solve the service and combat tasks assigned to them," the agency's interlocutor said. He noted that November 13 marked the 102nd anniversary of the formation of the radiation, chemical and biological defense troops. In the law enforcement forces, the first chemical defense units were created in the second half of the 1930s on the basis of the F. E. Dzerzhinsky Division.
