The Gamaleya Center named five main symptoms of coronavirus

The main symptoms of COVID-19 coronavirus infection are fever, cough, sore throat, loss of smell and taste. This was announced to the publication Ura.ru by a virologist, Doctor of Medical Sciences and Honored Scientist of Russia Anatoly Altstein.

“There is absolutely no need to look for 16 symptoms in yourself. It is enough to look for your temperature, cough, loss of smell and taste, feeling unwell, sore throat. This must be monitored. As for the remaining 20 plus symptoms, leave it to the doctors who, if you get sick, will find these symptoms,”said the virologist.

According to him, the coronavirus is capable of infecting various tissues in the human body, including nerve cells. In this regard, the symptoms of this disease can be varied. At the same time, as Altstein noted, one should not look for these symptoms in oneself.

“If there is no fever, cough and other symptoms, then you can not react to a change in the color of the toes,” concluded Altstein.
