This statement was made on Tuesday, December 8, by the head of the Department of General and Clinical Pharmacology of the RUDN University, Professor Sergei Zyryanov.

The professor also advised Russians not to abuse vitamin D. Zyryanov explained that exceeding it can lead to vascular damage, kidney failure, and other health problems.

Earlier, an Italian physician warned young people who had had coronavirus. According to him, serious problems appear after the transferred virus is recognized as the first big blow to health in life. "If an elderly person lives with chronic diseases, the young suddenly realizes his fragility," the specialist emphasized and added: "He does not think of the disease as a threat to life."
