Coronavirus infection can cause miscarriage during pregnancy, so women first need to fully recover and only then plan a replenishment in the family. Professor, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences Vladimir Serov told Nation News about this.

“The theory of miscarriage is largely based on infections,” the doctor explained. Therefore, even the flu is dangerous for pregnant women.

“Several years ago we had a rather difficult situation with the flu. So, as many pregnant women have died as from the coronavirus. When a woman is in position, she gets sick much more easily and can suffer,”the gynecologist explained.

If a woman who has had COVID-19 feels well and does not suffer from shortness of breath, she can return to her previous lifestyle. However, if you have shortness of breath, you must undergo a complete examination. Otherwise, it will only grow during pregnancy.

Coronavirus has a bad effect on human lungs. Therefore, the doctor advised to wait two months after recovery and only then plan the birth of children.
