Almost all people, and especially women, love sweets: someone prefers baked goods, other chocolates, and still others - ice cream or berry desserts. Sugar-containing foods usually form the basis of daily nutrition, and yet not everyone has rare exceptions. But if a woman does not like sweets and voluntarily excludes them from her own diet, then this may be an alarming signal.
No desire to rejoice
Biologists have long established that women have many more taste buds on their tongues than men, and therefore they feel the shades of food better and richer. This is especially true for products containing cocoa. This ingredient, by its taste, increases the release of the hormone dopamine, which is responsible for a positive mood in humans.
American scientists from the Smell and Taste Research Foundation, Chicago, have been studying American eating habits for over 30 years. The head of the foundation, Doctor of Medical Sciences Alan Hirsch believes that people, and especially women, who every day experience an irresistible desire to eat any sweet product, thereby protect themselves from possible depression, and this is due not only to the needs of the body, but also to character traits. Such people in themselves are kind and positive, tend to see harmony and decency in the world. For example, those women who prefer to feast on dark chocolate often perceive life as a holiday given from above. They try to live easily, see positive moments in everything and be in the center of interesting events. Ladies who prefer milk chocolate are usually calm and kind people by nature, ready to sympathize and empathize. Dr. Hirsch is sure that women with a sweet tooth follow the call of instincts more than others, are distinguished by their love of life and imagination.
But those who do not like chocolate or other sweet desserts are the complete opposite of such women and it is often very difficult to communicate with them and be together in the same house. Their world is full of sadness, depression and failure, for which they tend to blame anyone but themselves. Such ladies not only do not like sweets, they subconsciously do not want to enjoy life.
There is no way to easily become a mother
Sugar, that is, glucose, is necessary for nutrition not only for muscles, it is actively involved in the activity of brain structures and in the work of the human hormonal system. Not so long ago, researchers from Harvard University, USA, found that eating a lot of sweets affects the level of the SHBG protein, which is responsible for the balance of testosterone and estrogen. In women, this combination of hormones is directly related to the likelihood of conception. For the possibility of pregnancy in the fair sex, by nature there is a need for high-calorie and sweet food. This was announced by scientists from McGill University, Montreal, Canada.
Professor Michael Miney and his team of researchers analyzed the health of 150 women and the state of their subsequent pregnancies. They found an allele that stimulates nearly 90% of the volunteers to consume high-calorie and sugary foods. Pregnancy for these women came without problems and interventions from doctors, and also developed according to all the rules. But the subjects who refused the daily use of sweets had difficulties with conception and bearing. All this turned out to be associated with the percentage of adipose tissue and body height of the woman. A certain need for the presence of a fatty layer for the occurrence of pregnancy, the ability to bear a child, and further provision of his breast milk was identified.
Almost all volunteers who had no desire to eat sweet foods during their life had information about primary infertility in the anamnesis. Subsequently, having achieved pregnancy, they experienced problems during the entire period of gestation. Canadian scientists urge young women not to give up eating foods for which they desire. This need is inherent in nature and is associated with the ability to achieve the desired pregnancy without problems.
