In the middle of the last century, people slept a full 8 hours. Modern people can hardly afford even 7 hours of sleep. There are many reasons: stress, workload, inability to prioritize. In the race for time and trying to keep everything in time, many sacrifice this vital condition. Various techniques and techniques have appeared, thanks to which in just a few hours a person will regain his strength and will be vigorous and active during the day. In practice, these schemes are difficult to implement, you need a lot of willpower and discipline, so every day a person makes a choice: to sleep an extra hour or get out of bed.
Bucky Fuller came up with the most extreme sleep technique. "Dimaxion", as the architect called his method. According to Fuller, a person will sleep 30 minutes four times a day every six hours. In total, we get only 2 hours of sleep, which is very little. For two years, Bucky Fuller tested this technique on himself, after being examined by scientists, the architect was completely healthy.
One of the famous Britons in history, Winston Churchill, went to bed at 3 am and got up at 8. He also got 1.5 hours of sleep after lunch. Churchill himself said that “you will not do less work because you sleep during the day. On the contrary, you can do more than you get two days in one. " Churchill's siesta is often practiced by students, especially in the period before the session and important exams. Productivity increases several times, only on an ongoing basis - this depletes the body and makes it weaker.
The technique of "Superman" by Salvador Dali is considered effective for awakening creativity. The bottom line is strict adherence to the schedule: every 4 hours, go to bed for 20 minutes. "Superman" is one of Dali's secrets. Every time before going to bed, the artist set up a metal tray near the bed, held a spoon in his hand, therefore, falling asleep and relaxing the muscles, during the fall, the cutlery made a roar and woke up from sleep. This half-asleep state made it possible to find new ideas, balancing on the verge of reality and fiction.

There are also more extreme techniques for 15-20 minutes, which already resembles the science fiction section. According to 10 thousand scientific studies, the percentage of people who are able to exist without damage to their health, giving six or less hours a day to sleep, is zero. A significant number of well-known and widespread diseases such as Alzheimer's, obesity, diabetes, depression are associated with sleep deficit. There is currently no safe way to reduce sleep. Therefore, scientists are studying ways to optimize it.
Plunging into sleep, a person goes through several stages. The most important for recovery and regeneration is its slow phase. For a faster immersion, a metronome is used, the sounds of which coincide with the frequency of brain impulses.
Thanks to advances in science and technology, a more elegant alternative has emerged. Since 2010, the French have launched a special bezel on the market. The principle of operation is similar to a metronome, only in addition it analyzes sleep, and with the help of a mobile application, it offers practical recommendations and exercises to improve it. The main disadvantage is its price; such a bezel costs about 400 euros.
The most common recipe offered in Russia is to pay all taxes and get drunk, then the sleep will be calm and sound.
But seriously, doctors and other health experts are unanimous in the opinion: chronic lack of sleep is a catalyst for many diseases, be sure to get enough sleep - take care of yourself.
