Nutritionist-nutritionist, fitness trainer Arina Skoromnaya named the main mistake in the fight against belly fat in an interview with Sputnik radio.
According to her, today many are trying to burn fat with the help of body flex - a system that combines special breathing with the active participation of the diaphragm and static exercises for different muscle groups. However, the nutritionist noted that this is not enough to start losing weight.
Skomnaya stressed that it is necessary to eat and exercise properly to get rid of belly fat.
At the same time, the specialist noted that the exercises that are practiced in body flex themselves can be very effective. They help strengthen muscles and stimulate a healthy metabolism, but do not burn fat.
“It’s not going to be a fight against excess fat when you sit on the couch and breathe. But with constant breathing exercises, the whole body works, the body is in an active state, the metabolism is normalized, but not fat burning, "Skoromnaya explained.
Earlier, an athlete, personal trainer and manager of a fitness center in Munich, Germany, named three main mistakes that prevent people from losing weight in the abdomen. According to Ozgur Gunes, many people mistakenly believe that when they consume carbohydrates in the evening, they will gain excess weight. The second common misconception he highlighted is that fat should be avoided in the fight against belly fat. “On the contrary, it is very important to include healthy fats in your diet,” he stressed.
