Myasnikov recommended preparing for new waves of the disease, modernizing medicine, not stopping vaccination and "stop blindly following the Western model of behavior." "The West has benefited a lot from this model? Has it stopped the spread of the disease? Has it reduced mortality? It has just plunged into darkness, it is kept from chaos only by colossal spending on maintaining the economy," the doctor wrote. In his opinion, Russia needs to develop domestic tourism, transport system, as well as direct the funds received from the sale of oil and gas for domestic use. Myasnikov believes that while other countries are ruining their economies and “making a scared mass of their population,” the Russian Federation can reduce the information fueling a pandemic, following the example of China, where they began to assure people that the vaccine would reduce the risks of those vaccinated immediately and should not wait for herd immunity.
