Boris Mendelevich, a member of the State Duma Health Protection Committee, gave recommendations on how to deal with stress during a pandemic.
“The problem is not really stress, but how we react to it. So I would divide this question into two components. First. People who are really prone to mental disorders or are already suffering from them should contact their attending physician, "he said in an interview with the Parliamentary Gazette.
Secondly, according to the deputy, you need to follow a few simple rules, for example, follow the daily routine, including when working remotely or in quarantine.
Mendelevich also noted the importance of physical activity.
“The diet should be observed, in no case should you overeat, and very many are prone to this just during stress. Also, during stressful situations, many are addicted to alcohol, this is a serious mistake,”he said.
Earlier, Andrei Tyazhelnikov, chief freelance specialist in primary health care for adults of the Moscow Department of Health, gave recommendations on wearing masks in cafes and restaurants in an interview with the Moscow 24 website.
